About Andrew Miller | North Carolina Photographer

Hi, I’m Andrew Miller — a North Carolina photographer specializing in family photography, senior portraits, engagement sessions, and weddings in Southport, Oak Island, Bald Head Island, Raleigh, and surrounding coastal NC communities.

Born and raised in southeastern North Carolina near the coast, I first picked up a camera to capture the natural beauty of the NC coastline — from Oak Island sunsets to the charm of historic downtown Southport. What started as photographing beaches and lighthouses quickly grew into a passion for documenting life’s biggest milestones.

I lived and worked in Southport and Oak Island for two years, where I launched my photography business and began specializing in coastal family portraits, beach senior photos, and waterfront engagement sessions. Today, I’m based in Raleigh, NC, serving clients across the Triangle while continuing to travel frequently to the coast for sessions.

My photography style blends natural light, authentic emotion, and vibrant coastal color tones. Whether we’re chasing a golden-hour sunset on Oak Island, capturing a graduation session at NC State, or photographing a wedding along the Carolina coast, my goal is always the same: create timeless images that feel genuine and unforgettable.

The best part of my job? Seeing the reaction when clients view their gallery for the first time. That moment — paired with a perfect North Carolina sunset — is why I almost always have a camera in my hand.

    Jessica is my rock and my support daily. She is a proud dog mom of our sweet Sully and Banks. She is a graduate of Campbell Law School, recently passed the bar in September of 2025 and serves as a family lawyer in eastern North Carolina.

    Sully is our sweet pup that we adopted over three years ago. He is our world and ironically does not like when dad takes photos of him. (I do it anyway)

    We added Banks to the family in the fall of 2024 after we got married. He’s a little crazy and doesn’t like to sit still for photos. He’ll make you smile through.
